December 15, 1998 decree concerning the requirements for establishments open to the public and diffusing amplified music and its implementing order, require any owner of such an establishment to realize a noise impact study.

This particular study is intended to describe the steps taken or to be taken:

• to limit the noise level inside the premises;

• to respect, in the neighborhood, the emergence regulations mentioned in Articles 33 and R1334-R1334-34 of the Public Health Code;

• to meet the acoustic insulation requirements when the property is contiguous or located in a building housing premises for residential use.
